Built for the Benches: Stunning Lakeview Pools & Spas

Specializing in hillside-engineered pools that protect your home’s stability and maximize your panoramic Okanagan Lake vista.

A stunning backyard oasis featuring a curved Trevi Acero inground pool, surrounded by a spacious concrete deck, lush greenery, and a black privacy fence.

The Peachland Factor: Views without Compromise

Peachland is home to some of the most dramatic “benches” in the Okanagan. Whether you are building on the steep grades above Trepanier or near the Ponderosa bluffs, your backyard is all about the lake.

Led by Paul Tallon, our team excels at:

  • “View-First” Engineering: We specialize in semi-inground hybrid pools that sit into the natural slope. This keeps the pool profile low, allowing for glass railing systems that give you an unobstructed, “infinity-style” view of the water from your deck.
  • Extreme Slope Stability: Peachland requires a professional touch. We manage the Geotechnical Schedule B process for slopes exceeding 20% grade, ensuring your pool is safely anchored into the hillside without risking erosion or shifting.
  • Hard-Rock Excavation: We have the specialized equipment to handle Peachland’s granite and shale layers, turning a “difficult” rocky lot into a luxury outdoor living space.

How we prepare your backyard for the Peachland climate

Semi-Inground Pools: The Peachland Standard

  • Traditional excavation on a 45-degree Peachland lot can be astronomical in cost. Our semi-inground models act as their own structural support, requiring significantly less digging while providing the high-end look of a custom in-ground pool.
  • Eco-Conscious Spas & Swim Spas
  • Peachland is a community that values the environment. Our Trevi spas are designed with high-density insulation that meets BC Energy Step Code standards, keeping your energy footprint small while providing the perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the lake.

Professional Liner Replacements & Care

Older pools in established Peachland neighborhoods often need a refresh.

We provide precision liner replacements and energy-efficient equipment upgrades that modernize your pool while protecting it from the Okanagan’s freeze-thaw cycles.

Peachland Pool & Spa FAQ

Yes. The District of Peachland requires a building permit for any pool, hot tub, or spa deeper than 60cm (24 inches). This ensures your project meets safety codes and zoning setbacks. We handle the technical side of the permit application for you.

This is our specialty. By utilizing a semi-inground design, we can nestle the pool into the hill so that the water level is flush with your lower deck. This allows us to use glass fencing that preserves your panoramic lake vista.

In Peachland, if your property has a slope greater than 20%, the District usually requires a Geotechnical Report. This assessment ensures that the added weight of the pool and water won’t affect the stability of the hillside. We work with local engineers to manage this requirement seamlessly.

Peachland requires a non-climbable fence at least 1.5m (5 feet) high around the pool area, with self-closing and self-latching gates. We offer several “view-friendly” fencing options that meet these safety standards without obstructing your scenery.

Water management is critical on a slope. We design custom drainage systems that direct pool overflow and runoff safely away from your home’s foundation and neighboring lots, protecting the integrity of the hillside.
