After months of preparation, Trevi Pools & Spas Kelowna is thrilled to officially invite you to the Grand Opening of our brand-new showroom at 151 Adams Road. Whether you are a long-time pool owner or you’re just starting to dream about your future backyard oasis, this event is for you.

We wanted to make our Grand Opening more than just a “sale.” We’ve planned a full day of entertainment, education, and Okanagan hospitality:

  • Complimentary Community BBQ: We’ll have the grill fired up starting at 11:30 AM. Join us for a free lunch, grab a burger, and meet the Trevi team.

  • Prizes & Giveaways: We’re giving away thousands of dollars in door prizes throughout the day. From pool accessories to high-end maintenance kits, there are plenty of chances to win!

  • Live Entertainment: We’ve lined up local vibes to keep the energy high while you browse our full-sized display models and luxury spas.

  • Free Professional Water Testing: Bring a sample of your pool or spa water! Our experts will be running our professional lab all day, giving you a detailed printout and a plan to get your water crystal clear for the season.

Considering an upgrade? We will have technical representatives from Hayward on-site to answer your deep-dive questions about high-efficiency pumps, salt systems, and how to stay ahead of the BC Energy Step Code requirements.

Owner Paul Tallon and our lead installers will also be available to discuss the “Okanagan Factor”sharing tips on how we handle the 20% slopes and rocky terrain unique to neighborhoods like the Upper Mission, Lakeview Heights, and Peachland.

Don’t forget your water sample!

Chlorine is only one part of pool care. Cloudiness may be caused by high pH, unstable alkalinity, excess calcium, poor filtration, weak circulation, suspended debris or early algae growth. A complete water test can help narrow down the cause.

Yes. High pH can reduce chlorine effectiveness and may cause calcium to form visible particles or scale. The pH and total alkalinity should be evaluated together before treatment.

Cloudiness may occur after chemicals are added, but chlorine is not always the only factor. The result can depend on the product used, dosage, water balance, circulation and whether several products were added too close together.

Filtration may clear suspended debris when the filter is clean and operating correctly. However, filtration alone will not correct improper pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, sanitizer demand or algae.

The time depends on the cause, the severity of the cloudiness, filter performance and whether the correct treatment was used. Testing and retesting are more reliable than assuming every cloudy pool will clear within the same number of hours.

Do not assume shock is always required. Test the complete water balance first unless there is a known contamination event or another reason that requires immediate treatment. The correct action depends on the full test results.

Yes. A clogged or poorly maintained filter may not remove fine particles effectively. Check filter pressure, flow, baskets and the cleaning or backwashing schedule recommended for your equipment.

Swimming should be avoided when the bottom or main drain cannot be seen clearly. Reduced visibility is a safety concern, and cloudiness may indicate a sanitation, balance, filtration or circulation problem that should be corrected first.
